1. Who we are

Zxee (“Zxee,” “we,” “us”) operates the Zxee mobile app and the website at https://zxen.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our services, including when we send SMS one-time verification codes.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide and information generated when you use Zxee:

  • Account details: mobile phone number, email address, name, and @handle.
  • Authentication data: one-time SMS and email verification codes, and records that you requested or confirmed those codes.
  • Profile and social information you choose to add, such as an avatar or contacts you allow us to match.
  • Wallet and payment metadata: public blockchain addresses, transfer references, pay-link activity, and related timestamps. We do not store your private key.
  • Device and usage information needed to operate the app and website (for example browser type, app version, and crash diagnostics).

3. How we use information

We use this information to:

  • Create and secure your account, including SMS two-factor verification.
  • Let you send, receive, and request money through Zxee.
  • Operate public pay links and referral invites you choose to share.
  • Provide customer support and service announcements.
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. SMS and mobile phone numbers

If you opt in, we use your mobile number only to send Zxee Account Verification messages: automated one-time passwords so you can create an account or sign in. Message frequency varies. You typically receive one message each time you create an account or sign in. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use. SMS consent is not shared with anyone except the service providers that deliver the verification messages you requested, and then only to send those messages.

5. Service providers

We use vendors who process information on our instructions to operate Zxee. That currently includes authentication and database hosting, wallet infrastructure, and SMS delivery. These providers may only use your information to provide services to Zxee, not to market their own products to you using your SMS opt-in.

6. Blockchain data

Transfers you make on public networks (including Base) are recorded on a public ledger. Wallet addresses and transaction details on those networks are visible to anyone and are not controlled by Zxee once broadcast.

7. Retention

We keep account and verification records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. If you reply STOP, we retain enough information to honor that opt-out and to show that we received your request.

8. Your choices

You may update profile details in the app, request deletion of your account by emailing contact@zxen.io, and stop SMS messages by replying STOP. Opting out of SMS may prevent you from signing in until you opt in again or use another supported verification method.

9. Children

Zxee is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of Zxee after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
